Hi, I just registered with this forum. I'm a little embarassed to be asking this now, after I've seen how nice the sites on this forum are. But will you review my image-less (design-wise at least) new homepage at http://therustybarrel.com/david .

not bad. pretty nice for a imag less site, lol. I would consider taking off the color scheme though, it seems kinda a waste to me, but, i like how you did your folio. good job overall!

Hey, I like the current color scheme as it is and as previously advised, I would get rid of the changeable color schemes. Rather than placing your email address all over the place, I would recommend you place a link to a page with an online form on it. I would get rid of the underlines on the links, as well. You have to get the service section up, for now it looks really unprofessional to not know what you do. Overall it's nice and simple, I like it a lot.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be sure to add a contact page, and get rid of the random email addresses. Also, I enjoy having the color scheme, what do you think about me making a whole page for changing the site's style. Then you wouldn't have to deal with it, but you could if you wanted to.

Thanks, I was thinking that it would be cool to someday make a coin flipper that two people could access at the same time, to settle arguments and whatnot. I know it would help me at least.

I'm sure it can be done with Flash. How about an online betting website based on a flipping coin? Two friends (living close to each other) could go online and make some money, or lose some. But then again, I'm not sure.

This is an update.

I added a contacts page to it, removed the color changer from the side, added a new page for the color changer, and made a script so that on certain holidays, the color scheme will match the holiday.

I'd recommend you change the font on navigation. Bold, Italic text doesn't look good in this situation - it hardly ever looks good IMO.
