Nice layout and color scheme, I would suggest making the top links active and also changing the default joomla favicon. Also instead of giving the links to the youtube video, whynot embed it in your site, that way the user never leaves the site.
Lastly change your title to something more informative, aswell as more specific keywords, instead having sometimes or w-a-t-e-r...

Yep, Joomla all the way. Not a bad job for utilizing this type of CMS. Although, the same look and feel could have been easier established by using WordPress. This doesn't get to say that you did anything "wrong" but, you're not utilizing the full array of features and possible plug ins that Joomla has available. The blog is not bad, almost follows the same color scheme, only at second glance i was able to find noticeable differences.
Get yourself a more useful logo and use it also as FavIcon.

You're definitely on the right way with your site. More content, more videos, match the blog design with the frontpage design and get the logo + favicon done. voila`.

Your name seems to be the brand. But an image gallery or something amazing i9n the banner would say IMAGES to the browser. Can you scale down that banner?
