Site Review

Hey guys,

I've been working on this site for a client. I need some criticism, and maybe some advice.

It's for a marketing company, so its kinda boring and professional.

Thanks

Oh my! Whatever are you doing with the slogan "We take you..." I thought I was on drugs it was so blurry. Get rid of that 90s effect! It would also be helpful to have a hover effect over the site navigation. Either an underline or different font would be nice. Good logo, although the text beneath needs to stand out more.

I think your website needs a colored scrollbar. Why is the main content written in Times New Roman? It would look much better in a font like Verdana, Arial or Tahoma. I hate the fact that the links (besides the one's in the navigation) are blue in color with underlines. I would change the color of the links to match the rest of the writing's color (which is black). Furthermore, I would get rid of those underlines on the links. I think the navigation on the left looks alright- it's just the scrollbars, the font of the writing (besides the one used in the navigation), alongside the underlines and blue color created on links that need to be changed. A few changes would drastically improve the quality of your client's site.

Edit: After taking a second look, I agree with the navigation idea. A different font color when the mouse is taken over the text would look neat.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunatly clients like to be designers too so i kinda got my hands tied with many aspects of the site. I wish i can use verdana i normally use it for alot of sites i build. I'm going to change the scroll bar look hopefully the client will like it, I hate standard windows color and i change the annoying blue link to a darker blueish color.

As for the navigation area.. the client wanted it to be simple very simple. If anyone has any ideas to make the navigation simpler than what i have feel free to shoot.

Again this supposed to be a plain boring site.
Ya the site - good be better

Not really liking how it fades on the righ, but not on the left... looks off balance

good choice of colors! blue and grey will always work

that black is really standing out, and doesnt even look good... try a different color

over all, very professional and clean.. good job
