SportsAddicted.net Forum - Home Page design

Hi,

I spent $345 for this design, so it better be good . What do you guys think. I know I could've spent a bit less, but what the heck.

http://www.sportsaddicted.net/index.html

Any changes? I think i customized it a little too much.

Thank you,
Donny

To be honest you really could have gotten that way cheaper like $50, personly and i am very curded about this so forgive but the only thing i honestly like is the font on the banner and the small what seems to be vector images attached to the font.

Besides that its very blah and not my type of design seems a bit out dated almost.

While the frontpage looks a bit too "cookie cutter", you're pulling the theme through. Just like BMFX, i believe you drastically overspent on the design, that could have went a lot cheaper. Be that as it may, your forum shows the success you're experiencing, over 1k members, thousands of threads. What i would definitely pull onto the frontpage are the 3 or 5 most recent posts in the forum, a flash video player to review some game plays with the opportunity to comment on them. I didn't dig this deep, but while you're at it, enable users to embedd game play videos into their posts - if you haven't already done so.

Overall, except the front end that's a bit too generic, i think it's a great site and a job very well done.

Sorry guys, that's because you were looking at the wrong thing . I will have the front page design upload as soon as possible.

Thank you,

well if it works with no bugs and slugs pay the money and knock wood.

The type text is way too faint on the "we have 2 articles for you to read" body text.

Slow loady too. But i like the height of mediocrity. i am going to read about the lakers.

I suggest you move the "donate to" and yellow and white pages text menu links way down and bring your interesting content clickies up (on the left).
