The site is way too cluttered. If you wouldn't have told me it was a submission site it would have taken me quite awhile to figure it out. I would recommend spacing it out a bit and making it a bit easier to read.

A suggestion

I would suggest not showing as many sub-categorites on the home page. Maybe only show the top 3-5 for each category, so all of your main categories will be easily viewable.
I think this will help to give your site a more "directory" type feel, making visitors feel more comfortable to submit links or maybe pay for them. Good Luck with your site.

Whoa! Overload! I'm not sure whether to get lost in the enormous listing of small fonted categories or if i should just click away and go elsewhere. The current presentation - you're your own worst enemy. You definitely need to go back and tweak the site to look better and work more in favor of your users.

I'm going to start at the top of the page and work my way down.

The header is simple, but it gets the point across. The logo is also pretty simple, but it's better than no logo.

I like the title bar below the red header. It gives the user a little more information about your page. This is a good spot for your search box as well, which I can see you've put on the right side. The actual search button could use a little help though, as I think the padding is a little off. In Firefox, the word "Search" is about 5 pixels from the top of the button, and 2 pixels from the bottom. It should be easy enough to fix though from your CSS file.

The navigation is good, I like the rollover effect. Your sidebar is pretty basic, but it gets the job done. I leave that the way it is.

Now, as for the main content:
When I first looked at the page, all I saw was a large mass of text. List all the categories detracts from your nice header and sidebar. I would suggest listing only the first three categories of each section to cut down on the clutter. Maybe put them in bullet format to make them look nice and organized.

The footer should probably include the same links you have in your header, just so the user doesn't have to scroll all the way up the page to navigate your site.

I like it however there is not enough whitespace. Add a little more padding in your css along with increasing the line-height. Over than that the colour scheme looks nice and php link directory is a good script.

faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too many links, seriously.

plus, the quality on some of the images is a bit too low, maybe try exporting at a higher setting
