I agree that it is very well designed. But the faded color effect is a little too faded. Try a version with a bit more contrast.

Talking Thanks for the feedback Guys

Cheerz guys ...

All valid points you made ..

The 'washed-out' look is indeed intended .. but I understand on some platforms it can appear perhaps, a little 'too' faded.

I have purposely not optimised the site for mac users, so would expect it to appear very faint on that system .. reason being that my primary targets are PC users ..

Having said that .. I will consider increasing the contrast for the future.

Thanx again peeps, .. opinions are always appreciated.

Looks great, I would add an actual contact form rather than just posting your email address. Furthermore, a button to turn off the music would be nice. Finally, you might want to automatically take the visitor to the website (with the content in it) after a few seconds, from the intro.

well, it is an interesting design. I don't like my browser being resized, I don't like music when I open a site unless I asked for it, and I don't know what I am supposed to do when I get there. It is still cool looking tho.

Might want to consider a friendly HTML option for marketing.
Flash or HTML? Or just put it at the bottom.

Talking Thanks for the Tips..

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the positive feedback! ..also, some very good suggestions there too!

.. It seems that the contrast setting is quite a concern for a lot of you - and after viewing it myself on several systems, I can understand your point (usually I use a more bold design palette - but I wanted to go pastel with this one. - I guess I must have 'pastelled' myself out!) , so I'll be altering that in the near future.

< MCP > - A proper music menu (with options to stop the music, volume etc.. is on the way) - right now, there's a basic placeholder on the far left of the screen which does the job)

Also .. Why do you not like the browser resize? .. If you were visiting a website .. you want to see all of it right?
Lastly, .. when you say that "you don't know what to do when you get there" .. do you mean the nav system is not intuitive enough?

< Mr. Websites > - Yeah I agree with you about contact forms etc .. they're on the way.

< iDeviseFlash > - when you say the menu should be darker - are you referring to the 'image-viewer menu' (in the downloads section) or the navigation bar?

Either way, I suppose I'll have to compromise of the visibility issue.

-------------

I'm gonna be tweaking the site soon, so all other suggestions will be helpful.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=34159

So thanks a lot guys .. .. I'd also appreciate any feedback on the site's performance (in terms of download times, CPU usage etc..)

Ed.

Looks nice and professional but the buttons are a bit hard to see at first, and it could do with being less-faded. Other than that, good job.
