![]() | [WIP] Steve Jobs Fansite Redesign Hey guys, One of the smaller sites in my network - link - has pretty good content including unique articles and such, however lacks the 'wow-factor' when it comes to appearance. I'm currently working on a re-design, and so far I have this: http://www.stevejobs.info/preview/ I've never been one to be able to rate work that I do for myself for some reason, so all comments/criticisms are very much appreciated. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There are tons of Steve Jobs visuals out there, build them in. He's a very dynamic character that can easily bring that dynamic onto your site. Other than that, i'm missing some of the elements that him and apple created, the distinct design elements of the tiger os, etc. since you're already basing your DN and content on his success, you might want to consider adjusting your fan site accordingly. just my .2 € |

![]() ![]() | I like the old site a bit better actually. I understand where youre going with the new site but I like the simple fonts on the first and obviously the new site needs photos and pertinent graphics. Best...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I like the web2.0 look of the new site, however one thing I noticed is that the old site has a web2.0 style menu (silver gradient), but the new one doesn't (flat blue), maybe re-use the old menu on the new site? Personally speaking I do not like the background image that you have used on both of them - on my lcd screen the blocks disappear and reappear with every slight movement of my head - headache material!
