![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's actually not that bad! ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/332637-please-help.html I would suggest: - Remove all that dead space. e.g. your postcode form has massive gaps above and below. I'm not saying jam everything together, but those gaps are wasted real estate. - The text in the yellow graphics looks pixelated round the edges to me. I'm no photoshop expert, but I guess the relevant term is anti-aliasing? - Maybe try a white background in the main content area? The grey on grey on grey on grey thing is very dull and not great for readability (IMHO) P.S. I think the blinking headlights are a bit cheesey For me on Firefox, the text in the top menu moves down a lot on mouseover, would be nice if it stayed where it was!

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 1, turn the flashing lights of the limo in the header off! ![]() 2, the grey on grey is really a bit dull, spice it up, show better visuals. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=332637 3, the text is pixelated - sharpen it! What's your target group expect? Perfect interior - display that! Perfect service - get the pictures out with the driver opening the doors Perfect Timing - illustrate that the limo services will get you to your destination in style AND on time Perfect Glamour - Address the desire to stand out. In short, especially with a service that's all about status, one of the best ways to demo your services is by showing visuals. all this is in addition to what RCRiver already said. you're off yo a great start, improve from there! Best of luck! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The site is attractive and off to a good start ... I don't mind the gray on gray, but I agree that the blinking headlights should go .Unfortunately, there are MAJOR problems in the code in the home page which make it look REALLY bad in Firefox browsers! (Yes, most people still use IE, but Firefox's user base has been growing rapidly - it's too big to ignore.) When I ran your code through a validator, it turned up a number of errors - it's very possible that cleaning those up will clear up the firefox display issues. I didn't validate the other pages, but they looked OK. |

![]() | The headlights are going to stay lol. Its the first thing people say about the site when they see it "I like the headlights" sometimes those cheesy things can work to your advantage. I have to agree with everything you said. The gray on grey woudnt be so bad if there was some sort of bg. How about an image of the desert with cactus or something for the static bg ? I had a hard time with the resolutions for the flash so the text is pixelated. But from what I hear from you, it might be better pulling the 1,2,3 thing down and replacing that with an image changer or something. I will take all this into consideration and have to clean up the code. Appreciate your comments. My problem is that I cannot visualize what I should do with the site and have run out of ideas but im still getting business. But I want to stand above the rest. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=332637 Thx K

- I'd be the first one to agree with that - if it ain't broke, don't fix it!????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=332637 People's eyes are always drawn to things that move - hmmm, wonder if there's a way to use that to your advantage??? (Like, placing some enticing value proposition or call to action text in a convenient place near those headlights?) | ||||

![]() ![]() | Looks good. The only thing I don't like is the hover states on the top menu; I think the "Home" and the "great service" (and their equivalents on the other buttons) are too close together. Generally very nice though.
