Its good, I have a dolphin site too under development, its a nice script for free.

You should take the gpl, ect off the bottom footer, your allowed to and you should also create a couple profiles so it looks like the site is active.

Its that a custom template?

I suppose there's not much to add since you're using a standard skin/theme that comes with Dolphin. However, i've seen the software before, but never looked at an existing site. Looks great, navigates easily, overall seems to be a winner!

Customize the colors and visuals to be more unique towards your URL and concept. Custom logo, tag line and branded backdrop would help.

Great start, just don't stop with the development now.

it has the functionality, but i think you need to work on the appearance. first thing you should try to do is get a better colour scheme going (i.e. i'm not a big fan of the aqua marine). after that, i'd probably make the font size bigger for the subheading you have ("members", "top rated", "newsletter", etc). good luck!!
