Need A Critique Before I move forward.

Okay this site isn't 100% complete so don't report bugs (I know them and am working on it).

You should pretty much have an idea of the concept.

Is this design working? What are the flaws? Is it too drab? Not enough color?

Really like the color scheme and definitely the shadowed logo.

keep on going in this direction and you should have a really elite looking site.
Shop looks good as well.

Hi,

The header looks great. But the page does look a bit boring. I would have fun with Zune and the multitudes of colors they come in. Other than that, the design is quite basic and could use some more thoughtful elements.

I think header and menu elements can be a bit colorful or when we mouseover on menu elements, they can get some color (for fonts). For example below the header there is a blue color. You can use it a little on menu elements too. Have a nice day

Hi,

The site loads far too slow and I'm on a cable connection. I like the mirror effect of the logo. The navigation should have a rollover effect. I don't much like the background stripes, they look weak against such a nice header. Solid black or near to it would suffice. Maybe a light pattern.

Tables are bad for design. Data only.

Your sidebar needs to be different (not lightblue). On what has been said before, you could play with the multiple colours Zune comes in, with a stylesheet switcher. Each style is a different colour scheme and the user can choose the colour they would like (similar to Yahoo). This would involve recoding the navigation to make the images background images.

If you make a nice enough theme, you could package it and give it to other Wordpress users.

Keep it up! You obviously have good graphic design skills, you just need the right layout to show it off.

@music_man - thanks for the compliment. I will be switching the tables to divs. I think I'll be playing around with some cooler navigation ideas.

The only problem with using zune colors (which I was thinking about and probably will end up doing) is that they are quite bland (brown, white, black, and pink). I might more than one zune color work it's way in but one be more dominant than the rest.
