A whole site just to show how to tie a tie?

Anyways i like the left tie idea but needs to be better implemented.

There are four options on the left setp-by-step but only 2 showing in main page maybe you can make it proportional?

And you should disable the image ads by google it is way offtopic and will never get you clicks..the above ad is fine with relevant ads.

There are no meta tags in your pages.

LOL nice design and concept... consider keeping the images, but re-writing the text so that it's a part of the page, rather than floating on the page like a picture. after that, do some overall seo and see how you do.

Very nice for a school project. I'd leave it at that. However, if you're thinking about "going commercial" with the site, then you need some improvements in terms of color, images, show different ties, tie selections based on clothing, history of ties - and why anyone would purposely attempt to commit suicide by asphyxiation - a custom logo, better and less apparent adsense placement. Try to get expert opinions on ties and display them there as well. Get an affiliate account with some tie retailer, etc.

Lots to do, but for the originality of the idea alone:
