Arrow Rate this web page

Hi Guys,

I'm posting in regards to a web page that i have set up, obviously it is part of the site i run but i have made a few tweaks and adjustments to one particular page which i'm looking to get some feedback on, reason being is that i'm paying for advertising for this particular 'poker' page and i am getting a few visitors from the adverts but no conversions (which is the initial idea) anyhow,

the page is...

http://www.onlinegaming4u.co.uk/poker/index.htm

- I need to know what your first impressions are in terms of color / content
- is there too much text? / does the page put you off / scare you away?
- if you are looking for places to play poker online does it deliver the results when visiting the page? - if so, would the page be of any use to you
- are the adverts clear / appealing, is it clear where you need to click to visit the poker sites listed?
- what would you change if it was your web page

if you can take a moment out to cast your thoughts i would be very grateful, and please remember, be honest with what you think whether it is good or bad feedback - it all helps

thanks in advance, Alan

- I need to know what your first impressions are in terms of color / content // i like the color its goes well with the content too although the nav bar is difficult to read i am too lazy to bend my head to read the nav bar

- is there too much text? / does the page put you off / scare you away? // the text seems just fine not too much

- are the adverts clear / appealing, is it clear where you need to click to visit the poker sites listed? // none of the images diplayed so i cannot comment on it ( its just the thing with my sountry all gambling and adult stuff is blocked)- what would you change if it was your web page

Regards
Kenny G

There is nothing wrong with the site, nice clean (plain) design, easy to navigate, to look through, BUT it looks very much like a parking page, like a professional one obviously, but still.

someone made some changes since we last looked at it.
I like it, easy to follow and read. the eval/voting bullets set you apart from many other sites, it makes your site look interactive, user driven and smooth.
Backdrop is subtle and contributes to branding your site, the banner works well, too.
This would be a solid: tu:+3/4 out of 3. it has everything i'd be looking for and what i'd expect, it's missing the "wow" effect, but that may not even apply for your site. Great job overall!
