My riddle site

Hey all,

I'm new to web design and decided to start with Wordpress.

Please review www.riddlepit.com and tell me what you think about the design and idea.

It's too bland right now, you need to play with the elements of riddles a bit more. what is synonymous for riddle? take these images and build a decent custom header, build a backdrop that compliments the idea of the site and the overlay graphics.
at this time, you're running with generic wordpress, the heavy lifting to get your point, and riddles across, is still waiting for you.

I did some quick changes with a modified template. I'm planning to change away from wordpress, but 1st I need to learn dreamweaver...

I have to say, for the most part the layout and design looks pretty damn good. I like the choice of colors you choose to use. Good work.. Keep it up

Thank you, Ray! I promise to keep it up and still plan to improve the design as I learn more.

I desperatly need a possibility to enter "hidden" text in forum posts. The text becomes readable only when selected with mouse. That would be nice for riddle-postings, but don't know yet how to do it.

I would make the text the same color as the background, and use javascripts OnMouseOver effects. see www.dynamicdrive.com for some tutorials
