About your design,

Logo is very simple and could be done a lot better rather than a hollow text

I like the nav bar with the glittering its diffrent and does not look bad

I like the image showing so much about india its national bird classical dancing and caels its nice and goes well with the theme.

But i was disaponted when noce of the flags lead to any further information

Not really important for people searching for Republic day info is it ?

If you want to monetise your site get rid of the ad down below and put up 3 half banners right below the nav bar in colors of diffrent countires flags.

I like the new delhi parade page too ..did you try using google image ads? maybe they would give you a higer CTR.

Overall i would give your site a 7/10

The first thing that catches my eye on a website is the logo. I look for things that look and give the site an excellent feeling....I wasn't getting that same feeling on this website of yours. Maybe you should reconsider having that logo and maybe designing or hiring someone to create you a new one.

Secondly, the navigation pane looks untidy in my eyes. It's the blue gradient that makes it look this way. It doesnt blend in with the colours of the website. If you maybe changed the bklue to say, the same green thaqt you have on the website already, then you'd be on your way to making improvements.

Going into more minor things, I think it would look a lot neater if you aligned the flags up tidly as they seem to be a little mis-aligned.

The Alexa and PR ranking aren't really that necessary to be honest.

Also, your flag links don't work.

But on a more positive note: the colours go well together (other than the blue) and appeal to me and most likely to other people aswell.

Nice job though.

i like the banner, the logo needs some professional touch though. Layout is pretty good, however, the click on the flags doesn't lead anywhere.
If you're going down the political path, you should also look at each countries size, demographics, culture, religion, etc. In other words, just having a neat banner with a few flags listed is not going to cut it.
Nav bar is pretty neat, the google ads placement is not ideal though. I doubt that you will generate much income through adsense, what would make sense to me though, would be to offer travel reservations to these countries via your affiliate link to one of the travel sites.
It's all going to depend on how much content you're offering, so far you have an "ok" looking shell, but not much inside.

Overall, at this time 1/3
