So I had this domain a few months and recently started to get it designed.

This is what I accomplished today.

Nice colors in your layout. What I would do is make the header a bit wider to fill up the upper area of your site more

design is not too bad, it speaks cartoons, which is essentially what you're setting out to do. The banner is a bit on the large side though.

Overall, it's a good start, you're fighting with the same problem i'm fighting at IntelBank, good ideas and tons of potential categories but if displayed, they'd make it look empty.

Work some of the visual branding of the site.

Ugh..no...I launched the site last night. Within 2 months it will be full and moving quite nicely. I have an entire network of my own forums to promote it. The right niche and my sites do very well as I expect this one to.

As for that header being too small in the width...yeah but I had to work with that graphic and unfortunately that was the way it looked best and I added that border on it. I worked on that for some time to get it just right and it's as good as I can do.

I love Futurama

The navigation images and post indicator images are good.
The logo is too big, but would look great smaller
"Important Threads" and "Normal Threads" wording in the forums is a tad hard to read, as it is dark text on dark background

The logo is a little on the 'big' side but as 'Koopa' said would look great smaller.

The colours really do go well together.

The logo is big but to make it smaller doesn't work. It will also become smaller in width not just height..cropping it takes away the effect.
