![]() ![]() | www.visitorworld.com Hi, here is the site: www.visitorworld.com Do you think that the design of this site has a positive effect on potential customers? What was your first impression about VisitorWorld (I would appreciate the complete truth, no need to be polite). If possible, I would appreciate comments on our Index page, Plans Page, and order form (click on order to view). Do you think anything is missing, or that a particular element needs improving? ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/29546-www-visitorworld-com.html Any comments would be really appreciated! Cheers, Marcus @ VisitorWorld

![]() ![]() | Thanks for the thumbs up Slewey Does the site make you feel comfortable as a consumer? When I started developing it I looked at a whole heap of templates but couldnt find anything unique. They all look like hosting sites to me. So I decided to design the site myself so that I could make it stick out from your generic web based business. Thanks again. Anyone else?

![]() | It looks about as professional as other sites I have used, although its not a service I would be interested in. Its clean, and has a corperate sort of feel (rather than an amature e-commerce venture). ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=29546 One thing to make it more professional perhaps - "Promote your site to 1000's of visitors from as liitle as $1.75" <-- little is spelt wrong, I always put my text through a spell checker and read through to check for typos. I pressed the order button and got an error, though I wasn't sure if that is just because the site isn't live yet and the order page is simply an error page for now (not 404 just the ordering error). Good luck with it

![]() ![]() | Thanks for the spelling correction Missed that one ![]() As far as i know, there are no errors when you click any of the order buttons. Could you provide me with a little more detail about the problem you had (which order button you pressed etc). Thanks Spirited.

![]() ![]() | Thanks for your input guys: Slewey: I will look into that ![]() Spirited: That error should only come up when you go - * straight to order.php without clicking on a button ie. type in www.visitorworld.com/order.php * try to change the variables in the address bar on order.php (after clicking an order button) ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=29546 * or are refered to order.php by an internal page other than the ones I have specified in the script. The order script works on every computer I have tested ... i cant work it out. Try deleting your cache or refreshing the page. If you are able to test it again, could you please reply with the address of each page you land on. Mr Websites: Thanks. Could you point me in the direction of some tutorials or threads on how to do this? Cheers All, Marcus

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sure, just in case you guys don't know what the glitch with PayPal's code is- when you open the source of a webpage, you can merely locate the PayPal coding and look at the "return" URL (or the confirmation/download page after the order has been made). This gives you an URL to the destination you would be sent to if you had "made" the payment, but people can simply get the services you offer for free by going to the "return" website address. You can encrypt your PayPal buttons so that people can't see the code and extract the "return" website address. Visit this website to encrypt your PayPal code, or simply use this hosted script as your payment system to keep things safe. Hope this helps! |

![]() ![]() | Thanks Mr. Websites, Very useful information. However, it is targeted at websites who sell downloadable products. If a malicious user tries to access my return page, all they will get is a "Thank you" message ![]() Good information nonetheless and thanks for bringing it to my attention. Kind Regards, Marcus
