Feedback for Video Game forums

I would greatly appreciate ANY feedback, mainly for user experience. We are trying to develop it a bit more, and to get more members actively posting regularly.

what are you trying to do???? you seem to have smashing success! There are 5 million different forums for gamers, you're in pretty damn good shape considering the competition.
I count 11 users on my forum that should influence peoples finances (which i consider quite important), i think you should consider your site as phenomenal and well working.

Only enhancement i'd suggest it to use the "T" logo and replace the topic (new post/no new posts) icons with it.

Enhancing user experience,... post a poll for most played and favorite games of each platform and place a dedicated thread to the top 3 games of each platform into each category. Deliver game icons, platform icons, etc.

Since you're running a forum, it's going to be difficult to enhance anything BUT the visuals, you have TVGP's, i'm not sure whether you let users use these as currency to trade and buy games (eventually have a sponsor for that).

Yes, but its not a greatly active, new members rarely participate thats my problem lol.

We are working on the graphics once the forum software has been upgraded. Thanks very much for the feedback.

A few things that may spice things up:
There are some beautiful gaming themes around, namely at vbulletinskinz (dotcom). I myself once registered at a gaming site purely because of the skin they used! The stock skins are great but even better, a custom one if you have the finance for it.

You could try some of the vB.org addons, such as the one which encourages a user to post straight after registration in a specific forum. The RPG addon which adds user bars to posts usually go down a treat with gaming forums too.
If people are hogging the arcade, make them post a certain amount before playing (I apologise if you already have this).
Also maybe a competition which involves users posting quite an amount?
