My web design site layout

Hello people

I finally got some time to work on my web design site layout.....

http://webtraffic4all.thshosting.net/lauradj.html

It is not 100% finished as there are a few things that need more work..... I dont even know if I really want this "look and style", maybe I will try in another different direction....

I just wanted to know what you guys think of it, you know, the concept, colors..... Any opinion will be appreciate!!! Also, I am not happy with the background, do u think a darker bg would suit better??

Thanks a lot in advance, I cant wait to hear your opinions!!!!!!

Regards,
Laura.

I like it, simple, nice colors...good job.

The logo "Laura DJ studio" isnt that inspiring however, could do with a change. Also the pic of the hands on the stomach, that doesnt make me think of webdesign at all, i thought it was a healthcare site at a glance. So mayb that should change.

Only my personal views, over all nice design.

Thanks Dave

About the pregnant woman, I am getting totally different opinions: some dont like it at all for the reason you said; others love it cos it fits perfect with the concept "helping u to bring up a unique presence".

Thanks a lot for your feedback.
I will work on my logo
Laura

I like it, but I thought it was about healthcare, too. Maybe you should do geometrics instead of actual pics.

Hey, I agree with happyyo on the pregnant woman opinion. You might want to rename the title of your website, it currently says "Untitled Document." Finally, the fonts at the top menu could use a new one (something a bit more clear, perhaps). Nice job, overall.

you'll get some biz just from looks if it is you

grey back ground needs to go imho

you need a logo that pops, play around with beveling and shadows in your image program to learn how to do simple 3d

Well here goes - remember you asked:

A 780 X 560 pic - where's the site?

Page load time at 56k - 37 secs ouch
meta tags - could use some
etc.
etc.

better read this - http://www.forextips.com/webhelp.htm

good luck
