TLDSearcher.com

Been developing a site the last couple of months. What do you think of it?

http://www.tldsearcher.com/

I'm uncertain about the tables, can probably make it more sexy. I was looking for a clean, simple and informative design, don't want alot of graphics.

All that is left is some small padding adjustments and rhe site also have to be optimized for Safari.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Pretty crisp and straight forward. I like the overall concept of it, the only thing that i'd immediately add to your site is a search function so users don't have to drill down to find the ccTLD that they are looking for.
I would welcome a few graphic elements such as an worldmap that automatically highlights the country that the ccTLD is meant for, this would give users an opportunity to evaluate size, population/demographics, etc. for the ccTLD they are looking for.

Would it make sense to offer ccTLD auctions? Solely ccTLD. reason to ask; i am wondering, what do you have planned to entice users to come back or bookmark your site?
Partner up with a registrant or become an affiliate with ccTLD registrants, you're offering a valid service, might as well take it to the next level and make some money with it, especially when your service has validity, is researched and credible, you should be able to make a bit on the side.

Thank you for your swift reply! I actually do have a search function but only for the cctld site since the gtld list is rather short. You can search for the tld or the country. Do you mean a search facility directly from the frontpage?

Really like your idea about the worldmap! Will have to look into that! The datamining is a pain though

I like your other ideas, not sure about the road that I'm going to choose. Originally I just wanted a complete overview myself since I work for a large registrar myself. First thing that I have planned is a whois search for as many TLDs as possible.

Yep, directly from the frontpage.

Datamining is always a bitch, thats why so few do it. At the same time, it can really help you stand out from the crowd and make your site a lot more usable. Especially if you tie short info about the country such as demographics, median income, etc. to it.

Not sure if you guys remember my site. I've added a search feature to the frontpage, may search for extension with or without ".". Also I've changed the menu, think this one looks a bit better. The table that presents the search results is also changed, thinks it looks a bit more snazzy now.

Was thinking about the demographics part, maybe set it up like a tool tip when you hoover the country in the list?

Thanks for the help!

Scriptmaster is an unknown quantity at this point

First thing I notice: The logo, its horrible - dirty and pixelated. You need a much cleaner logo.

The next thing is the red footer - why red?

Change those things and you may have a good design.

ajkendall is on a distinguished road

i like the simplicty of it but i think it may just be a bit too plain, it suits the purpose which is good but with the main bg being white it looks to plain because the content bg is white also

the nav menu is cool and it makes it easy to find your way around none the less

nice work

Been working on my site lately. Some of the things suggested haven't been changed, I've tried different looks but I just came back to the original.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=280768

New functionality:

From the frontpage search you can search for country, ccTLD and gTLD, the ccTLD and gTLD may be with or without a ".".

If you search for a country or the ccTLD representing a country that begins on A or B, you can tooltip the country name in the list and get some demographics. This will be added for all countries (data mining takes time).

Another new thing is my whois-search, please check it out and let me know. I will add search functionality for many of ccTLds too.

Thanks for your time!
