Nice forums, I like the color scheme, the logo, and all around forums, there was just something bothering me, the Shoutbox, it was like right there. I would say to just make the shoutbox smaller, or move it somewhere else on that page.

Thanks. I used that shoutbox to gain members because they could see the site was active.

One big negative with a shoutbox though....cuts down on posts...

But I will say that without that shoutbox, I wouldnt have as many members in the short time it has been live...

you could make the shoutbox less wide, and throw it down at the bottom beside where it says:

"Forum Contains New Posts
Forum Contains No New Posts
Forum is Closed for Posting"

i actually agree with the use of the shoutbox, the placement is just a bit tragic in my eyes. i would scale the size of the shoutbox down a bit and eventually "split screen" the top of the page. this way you retain the dynamic of the page/shoutbox, but at the same time you're able to present content that's convincing enough for people to register and use your site.
