How about our new website design?

We have asked a web design company to design a website for our product Advanced Zip Repair. The home page is at http://www.datanumen.net/mockups/index.htm

The design is highly professional. The layout looks great, and the choice of colors is wonderful. I was always one to use blue and white, as they seem to go so well for each other.

What I would do if I had the layout is I would make the top left nav links outline in a light blue with a mouse over effect.

I personally the web design firm did a wonderful job. I hope it promotes your software and becomes highly sucessful. Best of luck.

Color help you focus directly to the product
Titles and headlines contains colors of the image
I believe that you should weight the priorities
You succeeded to get the focus but you don't lead the eyes anywhere
In large monitors the eyes roll left and right to the white of the background
It's better to confine the eyesight with a nice border or change background to make a contrast
What i noticed is that i visited 3-4 times the page to write this comment, i didn't got any strong marketing message

Generally pleasing but it may need some modifications

i like the general layout of it but i think it looks too template-ish, the background color needs changing from white because it looks too plain with the content areas being white too

the top nav and left nav are cool and work well because it's basic and easy to navigate but i think another color is needed in there somewhere to break up all the plain looking colors
