![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Flickr Fan Site -FlickrVille Hi, please review my latest site flickrville. It's basically a site where i post some of the more beautiful shots uploaded at flickr.com. The site runs on Wordpress and a modified free theme. It's pretty basic 1 column, but that's the way i intended it..just for photos less text content. Thank you for your time. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Website Design Review Site: FlickrVille Domain: http://flickrville.com/ All Ratings are out of 10... Website Domain - 7 Appearance and Design - 9 Navigation and Accessibility - 8 Activity, Popularity and Marketing - 6 Originality - 6 Loading Times - 7 Quality of Content - 7 Features and Interactivity - 5 Visitor Rating - 6 Overall Rating - 7 Detailed Analysis As a fan of photography, the choice of pictures you have is excellent. They are excellent quality, and there is a good range. Full marks for that. Starting from the top the page, you should get a logo/header. Even something from http://msig.info/web2.php as font would be good. Your menu links can't be easily seen. Consider to move them under the blue maintitle. With the 'Google Photo Software' and RSS feed button, it doesn't suit well with the top image. Maybe move them to down to the bottom, but don't leave them in the header picture. There's a typo on your page as well. 'Potraits' Might want to fix that up. I feel that you should catergorise your images. Sooner or later, you will start to have a very big list of images, and sorting them would help quick navigation. Your SiteMap has the general idea, but create another link straight to catergories. Lastly, although it is all easy to view on one page, have you considered having around 5 images per page, then splitting them up? It will make your site load faster and the best images on the front page would increase viewership on the other pages. However, that is no big deal. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/231851-flickr-fan-site-flickrville.html And on a small note, get your site a favicon. Good luck. Review by Anthony Lieu. Your site was accessed on a ADSL T1 connection, on Mozilla Firefox with a screen resolution of 1280x1024. Thank you for allowing me to review your website design - I hope it was useful. |
