![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | observations as an end-user of such websites and not as a designer (although design looks good to me!) index.html The cottage itself has 5 bedrooms which is a feature that I think should be mentioned on first page (cottages are usually much smaller in UK) If the cottage is family-friendly that should also be mentioned with examples of what makes it so. My wife (the decision maker) zooms in on things like that The line 'click to view' made me want to click the words and obviously nothing happened - maybe change to 'click photo to enlarge' or similar. The title of the home page is 'Forest of Dean Holiday Cottage - Price Charts' No keyword optimization Location and History both go to a single location and history page - I would separate the two and incorporate/streamline some of the things in in the local area section. There is no map to give those outside of the area some context/directions Price Chart There isn't actually a price chart there. My personal preference is for sites where I can check both availability and price, make my decision and then contact the owner (if not book online) to make the booking. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/229655-review-for-holiday-cottage.html Any special offers / out of season deals / booking now for christmas etc? something to grab the visitor Availability changeover day is a Friday, yet you take weekend break bookings - does that mean for the Monday through to the next Friday the property is empty? All in all, looks like a great place to stay and the website does a good job of showcasing it. does that mean I get a discount? |
