Review request gameclown.com

Could you please review my website and give me lots of pointers. I am relatively new to programming. you will recognize the attributes of a canned program with some additions. I really dont get stylesheets either.

http://www.gameclown.com

I give reviews permission to use my website in a illustrated review.

Any direction\, help or hints will be greatly appreciated.

It's a good start, but let me provide some suggestions (if you want to follow them, that's fine).

- The logo seems alittle too juvenile. I would try to draw a more realistic clown and straighten out the text - it doesn't look right like that. I would also enhance the logo's background, maybe giving the clown and text a semi-bright aura and place it on a lightly stripped background [two or three colors would be good]. And, maybe you could stretch it out to fit the whole width of the screen.

- The background is too dark. If you are considering what I said above, you should brighten the website's background.

- The layout is too simplistic. You seem to have several large empty spaces which can be a turnoff to the casual visitor. Those borders don't really help either. I would get rid of those at this point.

- About those links at the top - try relocating them to where the google ads are, and then move the google ads to the right side for now. I would also brighten the color of the links so that they aren't as faint.

- The content is fine for now, but I think you'll need more than just games to attract visitors. Try to incorporate some content on a major hobby/interest or a number of interests into your website somehow.

So, if you need any help, just PM me and I'll try my best to steer you in the right direction. Overall, it's lacking, but the potential is always there for you to improve. Good luck.
