[CONCEPT] site.

I'm creating a site that's minimalist in design and droll in concept. The content isn't all there yet, but it might be a sort of collection of odd knickknacks & amusing menageries.

The site designs I've seen here have been very impressive, so I'd certainly appreciate any thoughts from forum members on the site's aesthetic or current content.

Thanks a lot!

The colors are icky but the concept is nice -I love minimalism.

The section pages look nice but the home page is missing something.

Also, the site is simple enough that you could use CSS without any problem and really go minimalist.

I'm inspired. I think I'll go experiment.

Btw, many of the US government sites place their content into the public domain. Whenever I design an experimental site I use this content and knock out two birds with one stone by re-hashing usefull information.

I think you're on the right track.

The green color very bad for my eyes lol. Better change them to light blue or a earthier colour!

minimalism is nice but normally you would want to use colors that wouldn't make a vampire scream. good content but the design itself needs a revamp...

The layout is minimalist, but that pink background color doesn't fit in well...

Good advice. I've toned down the colors & made the color logic more apparent.

Good improvements. Looks much better now, but I still have a problem with the green text on pink background. All of the other colors match the green nicely, tho.

its a nice concept but the colours hurt my eyes. I don't want to read or click. These spring-pastel colours your using are no good especially on a white background
