Hello,

I have a site http://www.youtxtme.com which is a site where you can send free txt messages to another cellphone in seconds (the recipient still gets charged the normal fees for recieving one.) Unlike other txting website, you do not need to know the recipients carrier making it even easier to send txts.

My layout is a bit simple and plain, but I think it suits it's purpose. A simple site goes good with a simple design. That is my thinking.

So please give me all feedback and comments.

[^] Wonderful domain. Nice use of the word TXT. Easy to remember.
[^] Quick to load - Your website responded in 0.50 seconds, and your homepage downloaded in 0.66 seconds.
[^] Key terms on your websites appear ranked 1st in a Google Search.
[^] Great concept - attracts visitors.
[^] Simple navigation - mostly all on one page.
[^] Neat features, texting module is simple and user-friendly.

Things to Fix
[!] Design is a bit weak - not too professional.
[!] Advertisements are good, but not good if you have too many of them. Either remove some, or make them smaller.
[!] Your ToS seems to have different fonts and sizes.
[!] You need a new banner/logo - PM me if you require one.
[!] Your contact page does not require the "Contact: Webmaster"
[!] You could expand the website by offering ringtones, games and themes.
[!] No other websites were found linking to this website.

You've got an easy domain to remember with a simple set up system, all you need to do apart from developing your website for a more professional feel is advertise! Good luck.

The Bad

No favicon.
Background gradient has to go.
Too many ads.
Not enough pictures.
Logo needs work.

The Good

Fast load.
Site works and is semi-unique.

I think I'm going to update the layout a bit. Anybody else has an opinion?

the yahoo ads are the first thing you see and might put you off.
move them aside and put somethink else there
get some advertising

Well, the yahoo ads are in the middle like that so it increases CTR, and because of this, it has been making a bundle. Well a bundle in my opinion

Anyone else have an opinion?

+quick loading time

-For such a small amount of text, your text size should then IMO be bigger
-you need a better logo

Overall I think it has a nice domain, an okay background, and fairly easy on the eyes.
You can make the footer green bar more visible, though

noswad: I like the simpleness of it, but I think that just plain white isn't very catchy. However, I do really like the logo a lot. If you can do a logo in my site's colors for me to see that would be great.

Im not great with logos but the last attactment is the fireworks/photoshop original image so you can play around with the colours yourself.

Chris, all your templates are too ... eye-catchy. IMHO, Matrix, your site should be kept as simple as possible for fast load with less pictures (i.e. White BG, clear text, CSS (as little picture as possible)).

CWN I'm just saying your templates looks more like templates that would do good for a website that specializes in graphic designing and not text messaging

But then... that's just me
