Hey.....just chucked up the shell for my new site and wanted some constructive criticism.....hope you guys can help! Need to know what irritates you before i set everything in stone and build up a catalogue!

btw. i basically wanted the site to serve as my portfolio for getting into uni......... can i get away with a site or do i need something corporal as well?

I really like your style . But the actual site seems a little plain and the loading screen should be redesigned.

yeah, preferably i would have liked one of those bar loaders for the front screen........but i couldn't find a script... has anyone got one?

Thanks for you crit btw, the site will grow more complex as i clock up more content!

took FOREVER to load on my 2.5mbps cable connection...for a site that really didnt contain a whole lot of content...what was it loading...if it was loading those clouds...slice that image man! if you add some content it will rock tho...nice layout and good graphix ...how did you do that fading layer effect..i have been trying to do that for weeks! email me if you could and lemme know!

LOL! ok...so were i to slice up the images and post them all together it would load faster right? and that would make the need for a loading screen redundant (i didnt really want one in the first place, but thought it would take AGES otherwise)?

so rather than a 1024x768 image, ive got lots of small 200x200 ish ones or something? is that what you mean, because i didnt know slicing made it faster?

yeh, break them up, and see if cant reduce the colors a bit,

if htere broken up it will appear its aloading alot faster as well
