I'm trying to get the skin just right on my new forum... but can't figure anything out.

What do you think I can do to the header?

Hi. First of all, I really like the changes you made to the template. The header looks perfect I think. Second, if you want, you could colour the white bits of the template. Third, the forums and categories structure looks good.

the left panel can still hold/accomodate 2 banners.

the whole design of the site looks good but at the top of the page next to the banner you have a massive blank space, this needs to be filled as it one of the first things you see on your site.

I would try to look for a free or paid VB skin (there are some nice free ones, so you don't have to pay). I would mod it (work on the colours and edit the images)

So far you have a default VB theme. I wouldn't keep that, I'd look for another and start from there.

To be completely honest I would make the image stay as it is and then put an auto stretch white background the same height as the image. It would look good. Here is what I think of your site.

The Bad

This is a basic skin and needs to look unique.
Your site has no favicon.
Your site does not have enough topics.
Your site needs custom images.

The Good

Your site uses VBulletin.
Your site has an easy name to remember.
Your logo is simple, yet amazing.
Your site has quite a bit of traffic already.

All I believe you need to do is make this site have a custom skin and add a few more categories. Besides that, it looks great!
