| NamePros Regular | My BRAND NEW Website www.ClipartMysteries.com Ok guys, this is my brainchild. I've working on it for a while now. I was brainstorming the million dollar homepage idea and came up with what you will see. It's close to being done, I want to launch it real soon. Payment process works too. I got two problems, I'm still workign on. 1) Mozilla Firefox shows the counter in the wrong spot. 2) Gap at the bottom of the homepage image map and the footer. The only way I can close it is if I load the image map first, then the background. It's not the css either. The images act as links to websites. It's like a portal, but instead of text links, you have minature clipart images. Oh, the clipart images I'm going to try to corrolate to the website they link to. I have my 3 websites linking right now... Feather link to a poetry site. Beer mug links to a beer site. Acorn links to proxynut.com. See ? Corrolation. Also, on the marketing plan side as the links sell I'm going to put money into an advertisng fund. As the clipart image links are sold they go from 60% transparency to 0%. Throw some thoughts at me. If you encounter problems, let me know! Thx! | Account Closed | Site review Hi. First of all, the site is quite unique. Second, the template is nice. A bit dark, but okay. Third, the banner and the Clipart "map" is really nice. Good luck with your site! Overall Rating: 8/10 If you liked my review and comments, you can add rep for me. Regards. |

| NamePros Regular | Ok, so as I mentioned I had these problems: 1) Mozilla Firefox shows the counter in the wrong spot. 2) Gap at the bottom of the homepage image map and the footer. The only way I can close it is if I load the image map first, then the background. It's not the css either. I fixed 1 and fixed 2 ONLY in Firefox. I changed the Doctype from strict to traditional. IE still shows a small gap between the image map and the footer. Anyone with any ideas let me know. I'll keep messing around. Update: YAY! I just fixed it. If anyone cares lol. I had to play around with the divs. The footer div actually comes before all the map id info. So there, I fixed both my problems! By the way, any thoughts on the navigation ? | NamePros Regular | I did some shuffling around. I changed the name of the site. It's now www.funkyfunlinks.com. I'm still working out the kinks. I put up some more links, and removed the transparency ones. The links up now are to my websites and affiliate websites. Any thoughts on this ? |

| Account Suspended | Here is what I think: The Bad
The Good
This site looks and is great! Just work on the banner and the footer along with the favicon and you could be on to something. |

Thanks for your input. I do agree about the header. I have all along been thinking it was not on par with the actual images. My creativeness just isn't coming thru when it comes to the header, though. But one objection is that it is good that it looks "kiddish". I want the page to have a "fun" feel to it. The trick is now to make a professional kiddish look. ![]() I did try and give the states color, but it seamed to me to make it "too busy". I think I'm going to put back the transparency back as it was before. I am proud of being able to make all the images so clean. It was not easy. The biggest thing is that even if an image looks good big, it does not mean it will look good small. It was real crapshoot. Quote:
