Well this is my first ever design with pictures

and my first try to make an actual hosting design....

Oh and i already know the text may be to big but its because its part of the sample.. when i code up the design all the text is gonna come off.. well most of it

Hi. First of all, I think the template has good colours. Second, there are too many borders. Third, the banner is quite nice.

Hey, I think it's nice, but can improve. The navigation at the top, for one. Also the font should be changed to something more professional.

I remember when I made my first design. Surprisingly, it was also for a Christian hosting site

. My design was almost as hideous as yours

Hi,

Great to see young blood working hard on designing!

Firstly, like most have said, if you get a chance, downsize everything. When you first view the image is is reminiscent of viewing and 800X600 screen after years using much higher resolutions.

Secondly, you might want to consider placing the manu boxes in a boring old horizon alignment. It might be painful and a little less attractive, but novice web browsers can get confused very easily, so if you are selling a product, keep it simple.

Overall, it's a decent first effort, and please link us once you have coded it so we can see the final result.

No! I don't like that in a million years for a hosting site i'd gvie you 4/10 for that.

Make it like a hosting sites site. Theres loads of free templates out there for hosting sites which can be easily modded which i already rate some of them at 7/10 so with a couple of colour changes and make it a little more unique 8 or 9/10.

The page you have looks messed up and the navigational bars liek that at the top looks awful and makes you think, nah im not using them.

» change your button, make it an oblong one.

The Bad

The links really need to be lined up and less boxy.
The banner seems really basic and needs some work.
The design looks quite Photoshopy.
Don't forget a favicon.
Everything looks too boxy or too round.
The text seems big and blocky.

The Good

For a first design this is impressive (mine were much, much worse).
I like the Paypal placement.
I like the package ads on the right.
Overall your layout of the content is good, the images just need editing.
