I'd like comments on my site please, www.buyacountry.net.
I know the prices are a *bit!* high - if lots of people comment on that I'll look to change them.

[^] A Google search for "BuyACountry" finds this website as #1
[^] Your website responded in 0.39 seconds, and your homepage downloaded in 0.91 seconds.
[^] No ads!

Things to Fix
[!] Yes, it is costly.
[!] Needs a bigger banner
[!] A favicon would be nice.
[!] The navigation bar text is blurry
[!] Country text could be bigger
[!] Ads could increase revenue
[!] Canada and the US are pretty big, yet quite cheaper than those of that size. Is this on purpose, or are they actually that small?

Lower the prices, or offer special discounts. Advertise and you'll be right. Good luck!

Hi. First of all, the site is really unique. Second, the template is really good. Third, the buying system is very well designed.

The script isnt unique, i hav seen quite a number on ebay sold, check out www.gettingglobal.com which was the original. There are now loads knocking about. The site in this thread is worth about max $50 which is judged by the length of time online. If anyone wants a copy, Pm me and ill tell you where to get it for $50. All this seller has done is paid a few $ to have an unoriginal script installed.

When I first visited the site, I had no idea what it was about; the front page didn't explain anything. After following the FAQ link I had a better understanding of what it was, but I feel it would have been better to put a small introduction on the front page.

The site is completely useless in a text browser as you don't use any alt attributes on your img tags.

As for the design its self it looks a bit messy and it returns 60 errors on the W3 validator.

The concept seems quite good, but it needs to be implemented better.

I find concept interesting and somewhat rare as of now. Site has nice presentation but yes, useage of attributes shall help better just in case people have slower connection and images don't load up.
I like the buying system, but little bit description on all pages would be great addition.

Also, being a buyer, one may not be interested in getting listed there, for various reasons, so consider scrapping out that section.

I guess, you can add a support system/ script to the same and that would help people approach you in more friendly manner and have greater confidence, , though there is contact form as of now.

I would love to see prices little reduced, as they are more oriented towards big business houses. May be dropping a little bit or something like discounts during limited time, can bring in more revenue.

I would suggest you to promote it in better fashion and devise some strategies towards rewarding say first five advertisers and all.

Also, try to have it as per W3C standards.

Overall, I like cocnept and presentation and little description on every page will be helpfull addition.
