![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | CSS.la I am now developing www.css.la and want to know what you think about the design so far. Obviously it is done in CSS, but I haven't checked if it is valid or anything. -- Just checked: It is except for the invalid commenting I did. -- The XHTML would be valid except for I don't have alt=""s on my test images.. I have messed with the nav rollover's and I think what I have now is the best choice so far. So, whadya think? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Review It's a very good site. Nice template, good content, excellent template colours. The site is very well done. Good job! Good luck with the site. Rep wanted, but if you don't want to rep me, that's still fine. Regards. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | [1] High quality graphics and layout. Loading times are a bit slow though. [2] Try and get a professional banner that matches the site. Site looks very professional at the moment. [3] Forum activity links aren't working. Remove them until activity increases. [4] Fix the navigation rollovers I will be happy to review it again after it is complete. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | fmauniverse, the rules say you can't ask for rep. So, for not reading the rules, you don't get any. ![]() It loads in less than a second for me.. It pings in 40ms. The site isn't done, I'm just asking for a review of the design. So most links don't work and the submit form doesn't actually do anything. Forum activity is fake.. -_- The rollovers aren't broken? |

![]() ![]() | I have to agree with what was said with the rollovers, however I do realise they're not broken. But if several people think the rollover effect looks wrong and almost makes it look like it shouldn't be there then it might be worth a change. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/208196-css-la.html I just think it doesn't fit in with the header; I would have gone with something like a blue underline on rollover. Other than that the design is very professional, clean layout. Minimalistic use of graphics but it works with the screenshots in there, adds more flavour to the website. Well structured content, possibly use capital letters on sub-section headers but that is really me just knit picking. Looking forward to seeing it functional and content added to the other pages. Regards, Jonny. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's not my favorite choice (the rollovers), but I like them a little. The only other thing I could think of would be little arrows above the text coming from the top. Maybe instead of that big underline the arrow would come from the bottom? I like lowercase letters. |
