What do you guys think of this 2 page site ?

Hi - I've just got the two pages done just now but will probably add a few more later - I will also be adding a bit of animation once I get my hands on Paintshop pro

Affiliate links will be included to some of the company logos soon.

Please note: all the ferry logos and country websites go directly to a different websites so don't click unless you want to take a peek

Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated

ps - the text sounds a bit naff so it will probably be changed.

I think its a neat little portal. It looks well designed. I'm not sure animation would be good for this type of site but you can if you want.

Good luck with it man!

I wouldn't go with any animation, its often quite annoying, but right now it looks very nice, I like the design a lot.

Thanks guys I know what you mean about too much animation looking tacky sometimes, I was planning to just animate the official tourism website picture just on the right a little - just to draw the viewers eye to it so they realise there is another page there

Do the colours and the way everything is lined up look ok at your end ?

Thanks alot for your input, i will have to visit this section more often - I never usually get past the domain section

The main reason for getting a small portal up is to get exposure and hopefully sell the domain to one of the many ferry operators or ticket sellers in the future for a tidy profit, I can't imagine anyone would be interested in keeping the site in this case.

I also have the same domain in .info so I may make it a duplicate site once I add in the affiliate links - Hopefully it will do ok in the search engines in the next few months, it only went live yesterday.
