Question New gas prices news blog...

I wanted a simple and fast design ... so people can get info quick and leave. Is this a good enough design for my site? Thanks!

It's not bad.
A couple of comments...
It's nice that you have a bunch of content/articles, but I would try to eliminate the need for scrolling down the page as much. Try condensing the space between articles. You can probably remove the word excerpt from the stories...the read more /full story link gets the idea across.
I like the empty gas tank graphic...perhaps another shot on the font for the site name would look less homegrown.

How long did it take you to put it together start to where its at?
How many other minisites do you have or have you made?

Just learning on the web dev front. Would love to know.

Thanks and Good luck with the site. It should be a hit now with all the gas price drama and world turmoil over oil.

Thanks, I've taken the "excerpt" text out, taken out most of the white space between the entries... and made some other tweaks.

Thanks for the help! It's hard to say how long I've been working on it... it was my first time with a blogging cms, so I had to learn on the fly when it came to editing and customizing.
