I made a thread like this for the same site a few weeks ago (though, this is new), normally I would reply to that asking for reviews on the new design, but I don't feel like searching for it

Anyways, what do you think?

Amazing site. There were a few minor things I noticed. When it loaded the images took a bit. I don't know if it was just my computer being laggy or if the image size is bigger than it has to be. Also, in the header, I would recommend reworking it a bit. Above the image it just looks a bit off. I don't necessarily know how to explain it.

I noticed it's a bit slow when loading images aswell. Since most of the images are small in size (a few kb's), I can only assume it's because of the ammount of images on the whole page. The banner is somewhat large though (63 kb) - also... I have a banner rotation on, and there are two banner images that look the same which may be contributing (you would think it's the same banner but it has to download twice).

Any more reviews?

On a side note, the site's getting pretty good traffic (for me anyways), 110+ unique yesterday.

Being a Canadian myself I have to say I like the site !

Couple of things:

1) The search bar should go in the header.
2) Get rid of everything above the banner.
3) The Featured box should be big. You should NEVER have to scroll right to left. The logo and the bulk of the text should be visible, with no scroll and then have a Read More link at the bottom of the feature. Afterall, this is the Feature.
4) Scores on the left - The boxes need more height. Some of the logos are cut off.

I will definitely be bookmarking this one

I like this one alot! Very stylish and neat. Very good work!

I dont think it matters that some of the logos in the results-box are cut off, on the contrary, I think it looks kinda fresh.

I noticed one thing though, the RSS-feed image is misplaced I think, perhaps its Firefox's fault I dont know. Anyway, I think that the RSS image should go either on the top or the bottom.

The culprit seems to be firefox. I have the featured frame set not to scroll, but firefox can't seem to understand that. This also looks alright in IE, but it should be simple to fix.

As for the logos being cut off, I made them like that.

Awesome site, it looks great. Are you writing all the information to it or is it pulling from some sort of site. This reminds me, I should check out my hockey pool.

Hi. First of all, the template looks really nice. Nice colours and borders, has a beautiful banner. Second, the content is good and well-based. Third, the forum categories and forums structure looks good.
