Please check out MxText.com!

http://mxtext.com

I have created a new text site, could use your opinions in terms of the service it provides:

Is your service provider there? If so, is it actively working? We've tested many, all work so far. Please recheck your sendings if it does not work! If it still sucks, please let me know so I can fix, or remove it.

In terms of design, how are you feeling about it? Everything is unique, expect the background image.

Any other thoughts? Terms of possible ad locations? Page ideas? Suggestions to improve?

If the site were to be sold now, what do you think it would be worth?

Cheers

I think the layout looks very professional (except the button, go all the way! Hehe. )

I'm on Vodafone UK, sent myself a text and its about 20 mins later, I haven't received it...

It might be useful if you arranged the service providers alphabetically too.

I'm thinking since your site is so thin, you could have some form of skyscraper ads running down the sides - but I wouldn't suggest displaying them until they've sent a text, or they might not use your service.

Maybe you could redirect them to an ad-packed page once they've sent a text.

All in all I think it's a good site, well presented and quick to load. I cant really give it a value if it's not earning anything yet - maybe when you've got income from banners.

Thanks! May I ask what your provider is? PERHAPS, if you didn't mind, your number? (via PM of course, I understand if you don't want too!)

Ad-packet, I like the idea; what companys provide that type of service? The service providers are listed alpha, just the first few aren't, as they're other country services, thought I'd list them first. Perhaps I should change that.

Thanks again! Look forward to your reply/PM!

Ah, wow this is interesting, may I ask, what your service provider is? Did you try more than once?

Way too bright. I would immediately x out if I was a customer. The bright green works for gaming sites but not in this case. The background and header are good but I would suggest making the input boxes that dark grey or black. It would go well with your design and make the input boxes stand out.

Hope This Helps,

Thanks Bryan,

Yeah, it did help, cheers. Previously, we had a blue input box setup, though, I didn't quite like it. It was either the green box, or black, I still have the black though! May give it another go later tonight!

Cheers, any more suggestions? Phone msging working good?

Would the site look better with black background instead of the white?

The color is a bit hard on the eyes. Should consider changing it. About the background I think black would look better than white.

Very nice layout! I like it alot!

One complaint though: In the input boxes, just use one color. Dump the darker color and just go with the lighter color.

Hey, got a new name. The carrier box is about perfect. You should change the other input boxes to resemble this.

Carriers box is about perfect; you don't think it should have that green gradient as the background? I think it should, although, and I have set it to, but does not appear. Poor coding?

You are using rogers canada and haven't got it... hmm, that is not good! How are you formatting your number xxx (area code) xxx xxxx ?

Thanks

v3x is an unknown quantity at this point

You need to add some regex matching to the recipient's number field as well as checking if it's blank.

I integrated the advertisement in with a window, like the input windows use, to make it blend in, huge improve I think, more casual.
