How to get website traffic?

Hi guys,

I recently started a new web campaign called Advertise for the Troops. My website address is Advertise for the Troops . I need people to come to my website and advertise or at least join the free email list. How shoul i go about doing this?

Build a spyder that goes through Google and all the websites on it and rips emails from them. Then send a zillion email out all at once.

...hmm...on second thought, that's probably not a good idea.

Depending on your demographic, you can cold-call or cold-email introduction (done on a company-by-company basis w/ actual invitations to real people using their name). If you're trying to get anyone and everyone...google ad's (Altho I'm betting they'll be going soon and/or cleaning up a lot, due to the mad click fraud going on), search submission (only do it from the freebie sites, more won't help you), seo work (GOOD seo work...that's hard to find...I got my site to top 10 in "ecommerce solution" myself because I don't trust these so-called SEO "experts")...altho seo isn't manna from heaven like so many people say it is.

Get to be a regular contributor on boards that match your demographic. You're doing some military/troops site, go to ar15.com or other military communities and get to know people.
