Hi,

This is probably my first banner design and I need some suggestions. Where is it bad, and how do I improve. Also, please give me a x/10.

Well I for one personally love it! The colors are great. Maybe a few things to fix maybe is the text on the bottom for its a bit hard to read. I would have to give it 8/10

In addition to fixing the text on the bottom, I'd say choose a new color combination for the rotating text. While it is definitely readable, it doesn't really pop out and grab attention like a banner ad should. For your first banner design, I'd say you are on the right track.

Out of 10, I would give it a 7.

I concur with Evan.. colors are GR8... w/the exception of the text at the bottom.. needs to be brighter white so that you can read them... other than that the ONLY recomendation that I would make would be to remove the word website from the tagline "Free Webmaster Website Tools" it's kind redundant since on the very next line you state for your website.... 8/10 as well...GR8 JOB!!!

The bottom text is hard to read, as mentioned by everyone else above. Other than that it looks professional and clean.

I would slow down the rotating text a bit. Maybe add a little motion blur inbetween texts to grab attention.

Actually I think the colour is OK. I would lengthen the timing however - it's barely long enough to read.

Otherwise, I'd change the bottom text to bright white (or make it bigger). Besides those, I love it!

I actually really like the moving text and think the colour is good -- my one problem with the moving text is that it changes really quite fast, at least on my Mac.

If you were to change the speed of that and the bottom font, I'd think it'd be super.

I will give it an 8/10!

Looks really nice and professional but as mentioned in majority of the posts above, the text at the bottom is difficult to read and lengthen the timing of the moving text. I would give it a 9/10.

Great design! I would give it a 9/10 soley because the text moves too fast. I think you should slow down the tween time on text. Other than that it is perfect.

Looks really good for a first banner. Very professional look. The only thing is the text on the bottom is hard to read. Change the font to something sans-serif and possibly not small-caps. That will make it much easier to read.

Everything looks great in terms of colors matching and font size. But I kind of not like your 'www' logo, maybe its just me. But overall its a really good design with a professional look, keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone. Rep added to all. I tried to make it as simple and easy to understand as possible, and getting a few tips from the namepros banner, I made my first banner. I'm going to start making my second banner right now, and right now, I'm just going to leave the banner as it is, after a few modifications suggested by members here. Thanks

It does look good. The text rotation timing needs to be longer.
