The neon pink header hurts the eyes and makes the site very unattractive. Other then that I suggest splicing some of the images so that the site does not take as long to load on 56k

The site will be toned down from all the pink soon!

What images could I splice, there is only really the logo and the slogan on the title bar?

I have Firefox 1.5, the footer looks ok to me, but the frontpage takes an age to load, and i have broadband -- perhaps its a server issue?

I'm not a web designer or coder, but I do a lot of surfing, especially property sites at the moment, and your site does look good IMO.

Also, you have a great Domain Name which always helps!

Perhaps you should also have "non-forum" areas, such as Estate Agents details, maybe affiliation (which is what i'm trying to develop with http://www.freewebs.com/londonproperty

P.S. and perhaps you could put copyright 2005 - 2006 in your footer, so the site looks current.

Very nice! I really like the more unconventional design work and this one fits that bill very well.

Only the footer isn't aligning very wel in Safari. The smooth corners aren't vertically aligned at the top as they should.

Thanks for the comments - I'll address these tonight.

There will be more non-forum areas, but I think it's important not to swamp new members with 'over commercialism' and by this I mean links to external companies in too much detail.

This will come but only when:
a) It is worthwhile for a company to advertise due to member numbers and
b) Members have built some trust with the site and understand that we won't link to useless sites that add no value.

There is one more major change being added this week which will help the functionality.

Then it's just a matter of getting it noticed so comments on this would be very useful.

How long have you been working on it? Your site says it is copyrighted in 2005. It's the end of March now. That's rather a long to work on it. Even by blond standards. Or are you just using a template.

No - the site has been in existence for 18 months and was previoulsy a space to showcase new developments in the UK. We've got quite a strong infrastructure and we have made sure everything is tested and designed well before full launch.

Anyway is a good layout. Some css on text and the picture on a higher quality
