Opinion on my website

Hello,

I created http://genrevinc.com/newsite for a person who wanted there business site redesigned. I dont have the new website fully done yet but the layout and most of the pages are done. They wanted something simple that looked professional. I would like opinions and suggestions please.

Thank You,

Cole Hendricks

the design is great, but a few things struck me about it:

the blue background I feel is a little too dark, kind of makes me feel enclosed and squeezed in, if you know what I mean. Does anyone else get this?

I don't like the buttons, sorry. I would personally re-design the navigation aspect and maybe have it as a 22px or so high "bar" that goes all the way across where the buttons are now, but have them as static images.. hope you know what I mean, let me know idf you dont..

I think the text doesnt need to be bold, it does grab yuor eyes, almost too much. and it srt of looks like chatroom SHOUTING.

hope I wasn't too harsh on you cole, Good luck with the site!

Tjobbe

I have just seen the http://genrevinc.com web site. it sucks!

Ya I dont know who designed it I think it was the owners brother or something but they needed a new webdesign fast. When you mean a 22px bar thats static you mean it goes all the way across and what by static. i know what static means but I just dont get what you mean.

just one thing.

On your contact page, put your forms in a two column table so everything is lined up. Also, center your submit button. Once all your tables are lined up, you will want a centered submit button. I had a good idea. What about customizing your submit button to match the link buttons at the top? ...Just a thought.. good job though... like the layout

I like the logo, but the whole layout looks too compressed. The content part looks good. The buttons could have been better though.

Yes, def. an improvement on their current design. Although the layout is neat and clean, I don't particularly like the buttons either. A nice bar across the top would serve for a nicer navigational menu as some has suggested. Good luck!
