Blogade.com - Opinions/Reviews Needed!

First off, just let me start by thanking everyone who takes the time to reply to this thread. Your efforts and time are truly appreciated and they will be put to good use.

http://www.blogade.com/

There are perhaps a few bugs with the design. I had a custom skin done for me and there were a few minor missing elements here and there that were not updated or whatnot. You'll also notice a few extra rows under certain blocks on the main page; these will be filled as I make posts.

I believe that takes care of that, so please feel free to report any bugs you may happen across because there will probably be some.

Thanks!

Positive: Great color scheme and look. I love the logo and the bevel and shine on the whole layout. It is also clean and easy to read, which goes for a lot.

Negative: There might be a little too much green. Try to pull in a different color other than green. Maybe a blue or something. It just seems like the green is overwhelming.

Attractiveness: 8/10
Content: 7/10
Overall: 8/10

Hope This Helps,

I certainly appreciate your thoughts Bryan, thanks a bunch! I'm interested to hear more thoughts on the green fonts...I've though about changing them myself if it looks too green.

I definately think you should pull in a dark blue. With the dark blue and the light and dark green you will pull in 3 different shades in two color schemes. Not to mention you will have the white background to accent everything. I would play around with some of the blues and see what you can come up with.

1st of all, GREAT domain, VERY creative. The site should be creative as well.

I love the sleek look, and green is a GREAT color when used properly; can be very professional.

Invision Power Board... good choice ... but let guests vote

The font is alright, but the buttons need some 3d look to them, right now just a flat box needs some... fixing

Otherwise, 8/10, very cool

Thanks, taking your thoughts into consideration. I've already made a few minor changes dealing with navigation so everyone can get to the forums more easily from the main page. Would love to hear more!

I'm stay far away from blue, I'd rather not use the same color as the other 85% of the sites on the web.

And that's orange red or red orange.
