Hi. I have set up a search engine - it runs off google APIs (apart from the Domain Availability/Whois)

What do you think? I initially "borrowed" the style off google, but I want to make it more unique, what do you think?

What do you think of the logo as well... it is really the biggest design point.

Positive: I love the logo. I also like the plain yet bold look of the site.

Negative: The grey text at the bottom should maybe change to red. The fact that your site is primarily white, red, and blue makes me wonder why you put the grey in. Your search was also quite delayed.

Attractiveness: 9/10

Yes, I was quite pleased with the resulting look of the logo.

Grey text: meant to be out of sight, more of a footnote than content, really put there as a space filler, but I am happy to change the color.

Delayed: There is really nothing I can do there. My host is not particularly fast, and as I said it runs off Google APIs, and it is all a bit delayed in itself.

Great, but what could I do to get it right up at 10?
hmm... how am I missing content? I don't really like MSN/Yahoo style, but seeing as they are ranked higer than Google in Alexa I would rather have gone with that style, just I don't have the content for a site like that.

I want to get some more stuff up, especially stuff like a News page, but I do not have the time to manually upload news, so if you have any information on news feeds of any kind, I would really like to know. I don't want RSS feeds either because it links away from my site to another site.

I am thinking of getting an "articles" section up as well. Like tutorials or articles where people can write their own, and other people can reply.

Just wondering: What does 6YD mean? Does it stand for something?

No, but the point is that I had the domain 6yd.net and I thought I would use it to test something, so I started messing with the APIs, and a lot of people said it was really memorable and catchy, and I am also a bit of a miser and don't want to have to buy another domain.

its the google API which can be found at http://google.com/apis

can anyone tell me where I can find information on the clickbank directory? I want to access it and download the directory, so that I can append my own username and make a search on 6yd. I did find a script, but I cannot find the source code as it was encrypted or something.
