Jiffy Trucks website

Ello. I just made a site for my brother who has just started his own business. He repairs Jiffy Trucks and is affiliated with Jiffy so it has to be somewhat decent. Please can somebody review this website for me.

EDIT: Also, is there a fix for that stupid IE glitch (the bottom of the background)?

I would say that you work on the buttons more, i wouldnt recommend using images. Why not use a HierMenue (Spelt Wrong i think), search google. Apart from that is good, maybe not as proffesional as id like to see it, but hey, im not the designer.

Amazing, no. But I really like the simple, easy to use layout. People in the market for this type of vehicle are not looking for a spectacular, flashy site. They want info. Now. Good job!

Looks nice and simple. The way you type the phone number looks odd though..

Positive: The grey background is a nice background color.

Negative: The purple color really doesn't match. Why don't you bring in Jiffy's colors for the theme of the site? He does fix Jiffy trucks right? So pull in silver, red, and blue. Also I would recommend getting a banner designed here on NP. The images also look kind of grainy. The navbar doesn't match either.

Attractiveness: 2/10
Content: 6/10
Layout: 5/10
Overall: 4/10

nice and clean design. Passed xhtml1.0 transitional and fast loading of page added a plus. Also if you are going to market this site make sure to add meta tag description. also add some advetising word on the title tag. Othr than that, good job. always remember that you only have a second to present your site to a visitor, if they leave there's a change that they are not going to visit your site again.

I have also reached the conclusion that design is not speciality so go easy on me. The purpose of the redesign was to match the same format as the leaflets produced (attached). Thanks

Altough some folks think that simple and informative go hand in hand, i am not one of them. Style is clean but a little jazzy would leave impression. The whole point of a business page is to get and keep potential customers attention. The service itself will bring back returns but jazzy site will get a longer first look. Just my opinion. Good job all in all,

Your final redesign looks OK, but it seems a little empty, both visually and content wise.
