Cobalt64 is on a distinguished road

I love it, the themes right and a good, if modest, use of images. A lot of relavent content on there, which is always a good thing - nicely done I think. Perhaps some images of food or the place? I'm not sure, food sites aren't my speciality lol.

Let me know if ya want any more detail than that.

John

Hey, Welcome to the forums. i think the site looks great, but there is a few things. The links... under "general on the left side of the page are very bad. Instead of the whole thing lighting up, only make the letters light up. Having the whole square like that looks very bad. Everything else looks fine, and is really well put together. at the very bottom where it says the copyright stuff and who designed it, perhaps the copyright stuff should be sentered, and the maker of the page should go under all of the links, not in the footer section. On the entire website, there is never a need to scroll down. You might want to think of making the scrollbar fit in more by changing the colors. It just some simple CSS. If you need it, just ask me and i will send it to you... not more than a paragraph of code, and it just goes in the header tags.

change of copyright

Hey Garret,

I changed it a bit in a test page but I think the menu part of the site is to crowded now (inclusive the page design by hilmonf).

Take a look at www.bombay-palace.nl/test.php

cheers

oine get that damn page designe by hilmof off there. That is tacky. If you are going to plug yourself do it in the forums not on business pages. It looks rechid. Put that in the contact links page so they can choose to contact you not see that. other then that good job. Don't make the text light up instead of bars that sucks. it looks tacky too. Either way you get a sticker, *sticker* and I'm in a bad mood.

page design by ........

Hrrmm... don't know what to think about it.

I agree that it doesn't look all that fancy, but we have to promote ourselfs. And it does work. Sometimes we have to do things we as designers don't like. But in the end we make our money out of it.

I will ook into it. Thanks for the review

cheers,

hilgie

Hope it's not too late to add my thoughts. I'm not a designer, just an interest user.

I like the new placement of "page design by hilmond" at the bottom left. I think it is informative. If I was looking to have a website created and liked this site, I would know who to contact. If I didn't like this site, I would know who NOT to contact.

*takes a breath... You should read what I wrote to the gamer guy. But all is fare I do like your site aside from the minor points. Yes money is important but you also have to look at your job as an art aswell as a profession. That is why my site is updated very seldom. I can't outdo something until I am ready too. Either way a I'll be up for reveiw in a few hours so see you guys there.
