![]() | Needed price range comment Hello again, I have this website I've been developing I would like for anyone to view during their free time. With this site, I have a plan packet (for the hosting), and web design fees (not exact average) figured for this site. I just would like to get a comment as to what name pro visitors, like yourselves, would think this web site would cost. My (almost) overall conclusion is if the client wants to pay monthly installments hosting + webfees = $393.00 or the yearly fee of hosting + webfees= $378.00 If at all anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it. To you guys or gals, is the price range I'm asking for the site to expensive or ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/137034-needed-price-range-comment.html to cheap. Here is the site "The Web Site" If that link doesn't work try going to: 1. Engineering Tech prep site (www.engrtp.com) 4.go to other at the top on the tool bar 5.go to valley twp 6.then click on the "home" button hopefully that will work if nothing else *whew Thank You! |

![]() | hi maylin! the link to your web site design does not work. i dont understand your fee structure. is the web design fee a one-time thing...or ongoing? if ongoing...what work does it involve. basically...fees are whatever you can get. the idea is to get as much as you can. if you cant live on it...then dont quit your day job.

![]() | The site should show up if someone follows these steps instead. Thanks relaxzoolander for telling me the first link doesn't work, it would make it easier for everyone for viewing this forum if I have a link that works . And again sorry for the inconvenience I may have caused anyone up to this point. Since the first link doesn't work try going to: 1. Engineering Tech prep site (www.engrtp.com) 2.go to other at the top on the tool bar ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=137034 3.go to valley twp 4.then click on the "home" button |

![]() | nope All code I do is nothing made but in notepad. Check and view the source code if you'd like. Its all real. I don't like front page, its evil. The code I used included html, css and some javascript. But I don't use Front page, even though it makes things a little easier, its hard to position where you want stuff to exactly go. I like notepad better. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | on the nav bar the word other is centered but the other ones are not, the site background doesnt really go with the template, the colors you used look good together, on the right there is a box that is farther out than the box its in, and i think the fees are a bit high, but other than that its great, good job! |

![]() | I redone my prices on my website. This is the price(s) if anyone understands how I did it, or if I figured it out right. Web site: CSS-homepage: $20.00 add. pages: $3.00 each FTP upload: $2.00 (additional info.) Domain name: $17.00 Bandwidth: 4,000 MB (44,000 shared with 10 sites) Disk Space: 100 MB (1,000 shared with 10 sites) Hosting fee to choose: Monthly: $15.00 Yearly: $165.00 (saving $15.00) Other: Pictures: $1.00 (each) Graphics: $2.00 (each) Logos: $2.00 (each) Buttons/E-mail: $2.00 (each) Buttons/Links: $1.00 (each) Thumbnails: $2.00 (each) Marquee fader: $3.00 (each) Original Marquee: $2.00 (each) Table: $3.00 (each) --------------------------------------------------------- My actual webpage total: Homepage: $20.00 Add. pages: $33.00 (11) Tables: $12.00 (12) Marquee fader: $3.00 Pictures: $21.00 (21) Buttons/Links: $22.00 (22) Buttons/E-mail: $10.00 (5) ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=137034 Domain Name: $17.00 Disk Space: 100 MB Bandwidth: 4,000 MB Total Web Fees: $138.00 Monthly Hosting: Monthly: $15.00 (The monthly hosting fee) | V _$180.00 (Hosting Fee/Total for the whole year) +$138.00 (Designer Fees/Website taken as is) $318.00 or Yearly Hosting: Yearly: $165.00 (saving $17.00) | V _$165.00 (saving $17.00) (Hosting Fee) +$138.00 (Designer Fees/Website taken as is) $303.00 (total of web fees and hosting/yearly together) --------------------------------------------------- ***one payment of $303.00 for the entire year would cover the website and the hosting (yearly) fees; unless they want additional information on their website later, which the client then would be charged for changing or removing any additional information . ***If I go any lower with the web design fees; there won't be any profits at all made. Are you guys sure this is too expensive for just one year. The new Web fee (including hosting and web/taking the page as is would be charged (1 payment for everything): $303.00 ----This site wouldn't include extra fees unless the client wanted to have additional information put onto their site, which then they would pay an additional fee(s) each month for anything additional for their site. The same thing was done with my ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=137034 earlier fees at the top of the forum; they also included the web fee and hosting (yearly) fee as well. Thank you guys/gals for helping me out with this; much is appreciated.

![]() | Not a bad looking site, most designers don't charge per image or table but rather a per page fee or flat rate for the entire site. As somebody said earlier the price is whatever you can get for the site. Your hosting rates are maybe a bit high as you can get very reasonable hosting nowdays but if your client likes the rate don't worry about it. As for your pricing for the site, you went about it in a roundabout way but your price is pretty good. I would normally do a site like that for $250 to $350, so you are well within a range that I normally have no problems getting for sites I design. I believe your price is pretty fair. Good luck with your project. |

![]() | If this makes things a little cheaper; The client can pay only $15.00 a month for hosting, however, by the end of the year, they've just spent $180.00. If they choose the year fee, it would be a one time flat rate of $165.00. So if you take the Monthly Hosting Fee, it would be: _$138.00 (Designer Fee/web site taken as is) ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=137034 +$ 15.00 (Hosting Fee) _$153.00 (Total pay/Not including add. fees later) So really all the client would have to worry about is after paying the $153.00 for the first month. The client would just pay the next month $15.00, and thats it for every month thereafter; unless the client wants any additional information put onto their web site. Sorry for the mistake in the monthly payment in the above forum post I made in my fees. I gave the total for the year, not the monthly total pay. Again sorry for the mistake. I hope this helps

![]() | Also I have to keep in mind about the client buying their website by the end of the year. Since the client may want to take over their website by the end of next year, would $138.00 sound like a good buy. Is the price too cheap or not high enough? |

![]() | Maylin, I checked out your "codes" on http://www.engrtp.com/valley/Valley%20web/valley05.html There sre no "meta" codes or META NAME such as : "keywords", "description" or "revisit-after". You must have those tags and others so the major search engins can find your site and index it. |

![]() | The post above is as basic as I can show about the price ranges for the monthly and the yearly fees. I hope this clears things up with the price ranges I have for web design fees. Please any feed back is appreciated if anyone is willing to take a look at the price ranges above this post. Thank you |
