Suggestions for CouponSolution

http://couponsolution.net

Hello, I need to redo this site. I just am not feeling the layout and how it fits together.

I'm looking for some suggestions from you guys, on what to add, fix, change, etc.

I'm also looking for some ideas on how to keep members on the site, as many will just want to view the coupon and leave.

Thanks

Ugg - I agree on not feeling that one - Brighten things up. Saving money should be fun.

Suggestions for keeping people on the site:

1.) Make them opt in to view coupons. That way you can email them to bring them back when you add a few new coupons.

2.) Add more categories - if they are doing domains and registrars - they will probably be interested in scripts, tools, on-line services, etc...
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/134932-suggestions-for-couponsolution.html

3.) Have the individual coupons open in a new window -- when they "close" your site the home page is still looking at them.

4.) "hide" a really good coupon and tell them they have to "find" it.

Again I would go bright and sunny.......... Take a look at some of the coupon sites geared towards consumers - your really no different.

Maybe you could try creating a new banner, something related to the theme perhaps? A new color scheme would help as well, and it will be nicer if it was in sync with the header.

It would also be nice if instead of clicking the button "Submit" they would be automatically sent to the coupon page upon selecting a choice.

AIDS/HIV
First off it looks too photoshopish. I would recommend pulling in stock photos. Something showing coupon like actions without being too pushy with ads. Also I think your main page should be more professional. The only thing I can recommend is hitting up the auction board and getting a professional template cooked up.

Hope this helps,
