Great idea for a site. As for the design, simple and plain maybe too plain. It didn't reach out and grab me, didn't say README!. Depending on what you are trying to do you might want to spice it up with some color. Maybe a bit fancier logo.

Also a lot of empty space there, throw in some advertising, maybe some adsense ads or something.

Your links page has a huge error. You don't have a link to Namepros

All in all a good site, good content. Nice job.

I don't like the text. Moreover, it took awhile to load that simple page. It could be the connection here at college. The site looks okay, but is very simple. Maybe include a picture or two for the eye candy.

If ur thinking of posting turtorial dont link to them just post something yourself. If you copy them from other site put link back to their sites, cause right now i feel that your site is nothing more than google having links and no contents.

Most of the guys have said it all already, but ill just say what i think.

1) Looks plain. Sorry but too much space there, if ya add some advertisements to fill up some of the space, then great but make sure the advertisements matches yer colour choice so it doesnt stand too far out.

2) Colour choice is pretty good but a bit better, more eye-catching logo would be great.

if your freehost support php/mysql, why not try blogging script ? like wordpress. Then try to customize the script.
