this is not a dig at your pages btw, but one thing Ive noticed with parked domains in general, is where it lists the domain name at the top, its obvious its just grabbed the words and shoved them there in a normal boring old font.

As you are building your own pages, have you considered a more, how can I put this, professional font/graphical display of the domain name.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/web-design-reviews/132465-review-my-new-parking-page.html

something that looks more like ats a custom page and not "oh lets shove the domain name at the top"

I say again, its not a dig at you, but at parked pages in general, you are perfectly placed to improve on the "norm", so how about it

that, to be honest, can be a very personal choice. Basically, anything other than Arial/New times Roman etc, IMO.

It depends on what the background image is.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=132465

For example, on a techy site, with a computer style image, something as simple as fixedsys can look good.
On an artistic backgound, comic sans MS might fit.

I dont know how feasible it is, but can the font type be selected depending on the type of site it is? is it something that can be scripted, i dont know.

Im just throwing ideas around, feel free to ignore me, lol, you wont be the first

One thing, make the font lager, so what ever the site name is, it has more presence and make sure its a standard Windows font, preferrably a true type font, if available

perhaps someone else can answer this, is there a banner making script that can be configured to provide a specific background image and font depending on which catagory the website that is being parked is in?

Yes ,I decided to create my own park pages as well
And that was when I found out unless you have an seperate agreement with Google adsense ,you can not use their ads on a simple park page.

So I now use a small mini-site page to keep Google happy
I added a couple of news items and small article.
Also helps with the ads income,as people don't just enter and leave.

The header looks nice, although you could probably change the font of the parked domain at the top so it looks more professional.
