Needs some more color.
The header image is very tall, a lot of extra white space on top for me. Also, I'm not quite sure I like the swooshy thing you have coming out of your logo.

Also:

NintedogsForum
General nintendogsforum

I would space Nintendogs Forum out when you are using it as a title. If you don't, at least capitalize the N and the F

And finally:
who would want to spend money on a fake dog?

the header needs to be made smaller, its putting the forum our of place a bit. I thought the site would be about NINTENDO or summin.

Way too much white space in the header, remove it and it will look fine.

Good Domain name. The header is way to plain though. Add some more design to the site and it will be nice. It's nice and clean though which is always a plus.
