the first one is better than the second.

Id give the second one 1/10, and thats pushing it.

The first, a 5/10, as the content and layout are fine, its just the general design that needs tweaking. The colour is horrible, and it is prety plain. I dont like the marquee, it makes the site look tacky, and also why is the header focused on the right?

Come on man, what kind of site to review is that? At least use gradients... or a better colour. Or buttons/nav bars. AND a better logo

There are a lot of work to be done to it, good luck

Needs improvement. A better header which contains a picture of mosque, some quranic verses in header would look fine.

They are both a tad rookiesh and CAN be better. Nice tries though. You will improve!

well i am trying to get an image of the new mosque design in soon,also my host will not alow arabic writing so i have to put in the translations, What improvements do u suggest?

It looks a bit plain to me and im not too fond of the colour.
Needs a bit of work.

1st is better then 2nd, also you don't want to go for a splash page because they won't get indexed by the search engines.

Also look into getting a CMS script set up. Such as mambo or php-nuke. These content management scripts are free, easy to set up and have themes (templates) that you should be able to use for your mosque.

Also beside the designing being easier, you can add content to it very quickly.

Most hosting servers have them free also.
